• Profile information: your name, email address, and profile picture as provided by Google.
• Photos: images you capture through the app are sent to our servers for processing. We do not store your original photos. They are held in memory only for the duration of the request and discarded immediately after processing.
• Generated images: the AI-generated portraits (not your original photos) are stored on our servers and linked to your account.
• Usage data: records of images generated, including the country, year, and style selected.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To authenticate you and provide access to the Service.
• To process your photos and generate AI-powered historical portraits.
• To maintain records of generated content linked to your account.
• To improve the Service and troubleshoot issues.

3. Data Storage & Retention

• Your account data (name, email, profile picture) is stored in our database for as long as your account exists.
• Original photos are never stored. They are processed in memory and discarded immediately after the AI-generated image is created.
• AI-generated images are stored on our servers for as long as your account exists. You can request deletion at any time.
• Session data is stored securely and expires after 7 days of inactivity.

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

• Google OAuth: for authentication. Google's privacy policy applies to the data they process. See Google's Privacy Policy.
• AI image generation (OpenAI, xAI): your original photos are transmitted to these providers solely to generate your historical portrait. Once we receive the result, we do not send or retain the original photo in any form. These providers may process and retain data according to their own policies — see OpenAI's Privacy Policy and xAI's Privacy Policy.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. Your original photos are shared only with third-party AI providers as necessary to generate your portrait — they are not stored by us or shared with anyone else. We may disclose information if required by law.

6. Cookies

We use session cookies to keep you signed in. These are essential for the Service to function and cannot be disabled. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Request deletion of your account and associated data.
• Withdraw consent by signing out and discontinuing use of the Service.

8. Security

We implement reasonable security measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), secure session management, and access controls. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.

9. Children's Privacy

The Service is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
